Itâs a fairly well received notion that âopinions arenât factâ.
(I mean thereâs that funny saying about them being like a certain part of your anatomy, isnât there: everyoneâs got one!)
But what about beliefs?
Aren't beliefs just opinions, by any other name?
đ¤
Beliefs arenât facts. They canât be. Theyâre just thoughts, and thoughtâs not fact.
Even a memory is not fact.
(Plenty of studies have been done demonstrating that what we remember is the last time we remember, not an accurate facsimile of the actual event.)
Memoryâs just thought, as well
Pfffft, itâs enough to make your head spin!
Whatâs true? Whatâs fact?
What's fact is right Now.
Not what you think and feel about right nowâthat's opinion/belief tooâbut the spiritual principles that are bringing to life those beliefs & opinions.
The very fact that youâre having an experience.
Who you really are: Consciousness witnessing all of this being brought to life; all this activity.
âWhat good is that?!â
âŚI hear you cry.
Ahh, now thatâs exactly what a mind would say, isnât it? đŚ
