Opinions, beliefs and facts

What is a belief? Can a belief ever be true? 🧐

It’s a fairly well received notion that ‘opinions aren’t fact’.

(I mean there’s that funny saying about them being like a certain part of your anatomy, isn’t there: everyone’s got one!)

But what about beliefs?

Aren't beliefs just opinions, by any other name?

🤔

Beliefs aren’t facts. They can’t be. They’re just thoughts, and thought’s not fact.

Even a memory is not fact.

(Plenty of studies have been done demonstrating that what we remember is the last time we remember, not an accurate facsimile of the actual event.)

Memory’s just thought, as well

Pfffft, it’s enough to make your head spin!

What’s true? What’s fact?

What's fact is right Now.

Not what you think and feel about right now—that's opinion/belief too—but the spiritual principles that are bringing to life those beliefs & opinions.

The very fact that you’re having an experience.

Who you really are: Consciousness witnessing all of this being brought to life; all this activity.

“What good is that?!”

…I hear you cry.

Ahh, now that’s exactly what a mind would say, isn’t it? 📦

😉
