The topic of this clip is possibly my all time favourite. It’s a distinction I make with every client and every group that I work with, because I think it’s super-important.
It’s the difference between finding freedom from a busy mind and finding freedom with a busy mind.
Because I’m here to tell you that the former is a pipe dream and anyone telling you otherwise is a snake oil salesman, best avoided!
But the latter is definitely up for grabs… in fact it’s inevitable once you have some insights around the nature of thought.
Here in this short clip I spell out the three ways you can deal with a busy mind… one of which actually works!
So here's a question for you to reflect on, after watching that:
What do you think would happen if you became utterly disinterested by the voice in your head?
Not so much because it's something ‘bad’ or something to be feared (it's not!), but rather because it's just harmless nonsense?
Do you think it might start to lose steam, of its own accord, as you paid it less and less attention? 🤔
Only one way to find out!

Ok, ok, I know he says “ignore” … but it's a touch more subtle than that.
