It's Nothing Personal (Part 2)
The Impersonal Nature of Feelings
“How can thought be impersonal?” was the question we asked in the first part of this essay. The answer that came was a little unexpected… maybe quite simple for our hearts to hear, but perplexing for our minds. For we identified that thought only seems personal, when we’re disconnected from the flow of life and identifying with an idea of “self” that’s no more than that: just an idea.
In part two we take this understanding of the impersonal nature of thought, and apply it to the emotions we have and what they mean.
