That all the objects and creatures
Can remain looking
So poised

While keeping the Great Secret
So well,
And not blissfully shout
All day long the Reality

Hafiz isn't beating around the bush with this one – it's a full-on, God-adoring, love-fest.
Which I think would have unsettled me a bit, in the past. But there's something to see here, in these poems; something that can bring it all home.
