What have you decided you can't do?

What have you decided you can't do?

I'm just musing on the debacle I described in the most recent Daily Reminder (a piece that tickled many of you, thanks for the feedback)!

And maybe this is it? The whole thing. The fallout from a story like that, and what it's pointing to:

Public Service Announcement: You are NOT the mind.

My paraphrase of this one (lest you were about to start beating yourself up):

β€œThe mind is a powerful instrument. When it decides that something is true, or beyond our reach, it's very difficult to pierce through this β€˜self’-created hurdle.”

A powerful instrument indeed, thinking back to the stolen car story.

Look what it did! Look how comprehensively it doubled down on itself.

And look what happened, as a result.

So, the question remains:

β›”
What have β€˜you’—i.e. the Reader Ego Construct πŸ“¦β€”decided you can't do, today?

It's just a mind talking. To itself.

It doesn't have to be taken seriously.

Go be awesome.
