Two things to worry about

When two becomes one, becomes none… as related by Syd Banks 😆

Yesterday I pointed out a funny thing that Eckhart Tolle said in one of his seminars, and if you've ever spent time listening to audios or watching videos of spiritual teachers (as I have!) you'll note they all have cracking senses of humour.

There's something about the utter nonsense of the human condition—torturing ourselves with illusions—that invites ridicule.

Sydney Banks, the enlightened Scottish welder who shared his understanding with the world (and you, through these Daily Reminders) was no exception – there's no end to the number of cheesy jokes he drops into his lectures.

Take this one—an Irish proverb he relates—at the 20:54 mark of his Washington Lectures:

“In this world, there's only two things to worry about:
Either you're sick, or you're well.
If you're well, there's nothing to worry about.
If you're sick, there's only two things to worry about:
Either you live, or you die.
If you live, there's nothing to worry about.
But if you die, there's two things to worry about:
You either go to heaven, or you go to hell.
If you go to heaven, there's nothing to worry about.
And if you go to hell, you'll be so busy shaking hands with all your friends, there's nothing to worry about!”

😂🤣

It brings to mind this hilarious cartoon from the peerless Beetle Moses:

First seen on Twitter (give him a follow)! Here's another banger 😂
