Itโs a funny old game, this Innate Health malarkey.
Here I am, pointing you in a direction, each and every day, using the tools of the left brain: language, rationalisation, categorisation.
And yet what Iโm pointing to, has got nothing to do with any of that. Itโs almost the opposite.
Itโs really easy for minds to take this all in as information, to try and store it away, (to bring out later and use in a situation), because thatโs how weโve been schooled. But thatโs not it.
Theyโre Daily Reminders, not Daily Learning.
A reminder to shift your focus away from the mindโs activity, and back towards life itself; to encourage you to be guided by your intuitions and deeper wisdom, rather than checking in with the uninvited guest in your head all the time, for permission.
Thereโs an old audio from Sydney Banks (whose insights, books and talks inform everything I do), where he said:
โIf you're listening to this in your car and you find yourself in a beautiful feeling, roll down your window, pop the tape out of the tape player, and throw it out the window. Stay with the feeling, and it will teach you everything you need to know.โ
Sage advice! Because that feeling is the feeling of life itself; of who-you-really-are, and itโs going to tell you magnitudes more than any words I share.
The equivalent to โthrowing the tape out the windowโ with each of these Daily Reminders, is to start your day from that feeling.
Slow down. Relax. Breathe. Be. Remember who you are.
Because when youโre up against work and people and fast-paced, baffling life-circumstances, the place youโre coming from is what counts.
