I’m listening to Michael Singer’s Living Untethered and he doesn’t pull any punches about the experience we’re having, or what our minds are making of it.

“Nobody else is standing there experiencing what you’re experiencing. Truth is… no one ever did and no one ever will. That exact moment will never be here again. All moments just keep passing through time and space. You are being given a unique show that took billions of years to create. It’s right in front of you and you’re complaining about it.”

I know the Giles Ego Construct 📦 sure does!
Its complaints all look like genuine, legitimate concerns.
“The intention of this journey we are on together is to take away those reasons, whatever they are. The moment in front of you is a gift from creation. There are shapes, colours and sounds. There are people and lots of things to do. It’s not that way on Mars. Or on any place that we’ve seen thus far in our studies of the Universe.
“But we don’t live our lives with a constant sense of awe and appreciation. … Your consciousness may be aware of the moment in front of you, but you did not create that moment. You’re simply being given this wonderful opportunity to experience a moment in creation that took billions of years to get here. Be sure you don’t miss it.”
