A 4-step mini-course on Relationships, curated exclusively for Daily Reminders Premium π Subscribers
Welcome! Take 1 minute to find out what this is.
01 FOUNDATIONS
First things first, welcome ππ» and let's make sure we know what we're doing here.
This page contains a treasure trove of carefully selected resources, all designed with one over-arching purpose in mind: for you to experience better relationships, be that at home, at work and out in the world at large.
Now, the fact that we're not honing in on one specific kind of relationship (e.g. with your partner) should immediately flag to you that this is different from the usual relationships advice you'll get.
All the materials I share, and the way in which I help people to get the changes they want to see are concerned with looking βupstreamβ to how we actually experience everythingβ¦ of which e.g. relationships are just one subset.
So for that reason, the first few resources will be quite general, and important to relax into, before we start looking at some relationships-specific items.
If you're a read-the-instructions kind of person and want to get the most out of these resources, click the little down arrow toggle (β½) below, to read how:
Some practicalities, to get the most out of this ‡οΈ
- Every βcardβ you see on this page is clickable and will take you to a specific Daily Reminder, elsewhere on the site
- The same goes for any linked text β it will take you to a Daily Reminder that will tell you more about that particular topic
- For that reason, you might like to Bookmark this page, so you can always find your way back here (the Daily Reminders can be a bit of a rabbit hole, if you follow your curiosity from one to the next)!
- Quick tip: It also shows up in the Explore β Premium π Content page, that groups together all the additional materials on the site
- For your information, the URL for this page you're on now is: https://www.gilespcroft.com/courses-relationships
- I've presented the resources in this course to you in a very specific order, so don't be tempted to jump ahead⦠try and work your way through, bit by bit
- Take your time. This isn't school and there are no prizes for consuming everything. In fact, if you approach these resources looking for information to understand, remember and apply, nothing will actually change for you (more on that below)
- Because this course is self-contained, all on one page, I have numbered everything (e.g. #01-02 for the second post in the FOUNDATIONS section) so you can keep tabs on how far you've got.
- At the end of each section (there are four sections), there's a little drop down with βMore helpful resources ‡οΈβ β if you find you've struggled a bit with some of the ideas in a particular section, then it's a good idea to explore some of these additional resources. They'll be saying the same thing, in a slightly different way; hopefully one that will resonate with you.
β οΈ Most importantly
- When something lands for you (i.e. you have a little insight: a moment where you find yourself saying βOh yeah, I'd never thought of it like that beforeβ π³) stop what you're doing and step away. In other words, allow each insight room to breathe. Don't be too hasty to rush onward to the next insight. Change will happen in the background as a result of insight β if we give them the chance to bed in.
