The [other day](https://www.gilespcroft.com/a-swarm-of-bees), I warned you away (with *bees!* 🐝) from the oh-so-tempting practice of dissecting your low moods and ‘ill feelings’ and in the process I casually brushed over this sentence:

> **The feelings are pointing us to the fact that we’re identifying with our thought system.**

Which is quite a biggie.

In fact, it’s the single, over-arching misunderstanding that lies behind *all* the human suffering we experience ourselves, and witness in the world.

Yup, that big.

I will never tire of pointing you in this direction, because to see this at play in your own life is the most liberating thing that can happen for you.

So here’s 55 seconds more for you in this week’s video clip:

This is the *Thought Realisation* piece of the diagram that sits next to me in the video – realising, for yourself, that we live in the feeling of a thought-generated perceptual reality…

… not the feeling of our circumstances.

⚠️

It's not **what* we're thinking that's important – it's the fact **that* we're thinking.

Life-changing!

p.s. If this stuff kind of makes sense to you intellectually but it’s not making a real difference in your life, then it's probably time to look at your situation with a trusted guide (hi 👋🏻), so you can have the insights and see the changes that are right for *you.*

Helping people get to that point is what I do, so let me know what's going on for you at the bottom of the page that's linked below, and I'll be in touch to arrange a conversation.
