# Lessons from the animal kingdom

The other day, in the ‘Sunday Spiritual’ **Daily Reminder**, when we were discussing the notion of separate realities, I casually mentioned that some animals see different colours from us. If you missed that one, you can read it here:

But did you know that other animals don’t just see different colours, they inhabit completely different realities from us?

And as I was writing, I recalled that I have spoken about this previously, in one of my [Video Masterclasses](https://payhip.com/gilespcroft/collection/video-masterclasses?ref=gilespcroft.com). It’s a phenomenon called “Umwelt” and it’s absolutely fascinating!

As they say, in the accompanying blurb:

And here’s the key: Of course we are animals on this planet and of course we are one of those species.

But within us, between us – each of us gets our own thin slice of the fullness of reality; each of us experiences life *very* differently; each of us is *entirely* unique.

Just like everybody else.
